SHIMIST offers laparoscopic hernia trainings to cover a broad spectrum of surgical procedures in Hernia Surgery.

This training course includes live operative demonstrations, Endo-trainer sessions on different modules on specific Endo-trainers for hernias and a wet lab. This course includes Laparoscopic TAPP, TEP, E-TEP, IPOM, etc.

The Endo-trainer sessions include Endo-suturing and knotting, IPOM plus repair for ventral hernia and TAPP repair for inguinal hernia on indigenously prepared on case specific Endo-trainers. This Course covers Endoscopic anatomy of the abdominal wall and inguinal region, Principles of laparoscopic hernia repair, Meshes & Fixation devices for better knowledge.
